Arabian Stallion for Sale in Davenport, IA
Abu is a gorgeous arab gelding that needs a new loving home. He hasn't
been ridden much lately as I have been more focused on my reiners, but
when I do ride him, its great. Easily rides bareback. Easily jumps
4' free lunging. Stands great for vet, farrier, bathing, tacking up
everything. He loves to show off, but doesn't get stupid, and listens
well to whoever is handling him in nervous situations. I don't recommend
him for green riders. He needs a calm patient firm rider. Has been on
trails and roads, but needs some more work to go back out again. Parents
are in med school, and I can only keep two horses. He is a great horse
and is very sane, many people have been on him, but he is an arab and
it does show. Good Home only. Email for pictures / more info. Price Neg.
About Davenport, IA
The land was originally owned by the historic Sauk people, Meskwaki (Fox), and Ho-Chunk (Winnebago) Native American tribes. France laid claim to this territory as part of its New France and Illinois Country in the 18th century. Its traders and missionaries came to the area from Canada (Quebec), but it did not have many settlers here. After losing to Great Britain in the Seven Years' War, France ceded its territory east of the Mississippi River to the victor, but retained lands to the west. In 1803 France sold its holdings in North America west of the Mississippi River to the United States under the Louisiana Purchase.
