Quarter Horse Mare for Sale in Heber Springs, AR

Price is $600, OBO. 3. 3 yrs old, Fillie, Quarter horse, light Chestnut, full nose blaze. Trail riding horse, ground broken, ferried, wormed, Coggins, saddle broken. Used to cars, four wheelers, etc, is still young, will need further training. 'Been trail riding for over a year, graduated the 6 wk. Amish training in MO, last spring. She is loving, trusting. She's been on a Bermuda pasture, I bought Tipton 44 Bermuda large bails for winter time. The pasture is too small for the horses, and I must sell one. Come see her to get the full effect of how wonderful she is! I am struggling financially, and cannot keep her. Please let me know if you have space in your pasture, and heart, for a Fillie who needs a home. Located in N. Central AR, east of Greers Ferry Lake. Email me for photos, and price is B. O.

About Heber Springs, AR

Initially named Sugar Loaf, Heber Springs was founded by Max Frauenthal. In 1881, Frauenthal bought land in Van Buren County from John T. Jones. He founded the Sugar Loaf Springs Company and plotted a town site which was incorporated as "Sugar Loaf" on October 4, 1882. In 1883, Frauenthal donated land for the courthouse square, built a frame courthouse to be used by the soon to be created Cleburne County, and donated the land for Spring Park, thus securing the county seat for the new town.
