15.3H Thoroughbred Gelding

Tyler is a friendly OTTB gelding. Sustained a small fracture ending his racing career, rehabbed 2 years ago and xrays show no trace of break. Healthy, sound, easy keeper, nice ground manners, comes to you in pasture, good for farrier. Up to date on shots, had teeth floated Nov. 2007. Barefoot with Hoof Armor and happy that way except on gravel / rocks. I have been riding him once or twice a week for about one year and this has not been sufficient to retrain him from his racetrack mentality - he still really wants to run and has to be held back from canter / made to trot. Fast gaits. Needs a rider with time to complete his retraining. Would be good dressage prospect for someone who can invest the time. I have done arena work and some trail riding with him over the past year.
