Bay Thoroughbred Yearling Colt by BEHRENS out of the dam SO OBLIVIOUS.
Hot young sire BEHRENS won over $4. 5 Million on the racetrack, in the
money in 18 Graded Stakes races. BEHRENS is by the sire Pleasant Colony,
and hails from the RIBOT sire line. This colt comes from a racing family,
as his dam, So Oblivious won over $200, 000+ on the racetrack. This colt
has some serious size and athletic abilities. He is correct and has
great bone and good structure which would make him a standout on the
track or as an eventer & / or jumper. He has a great attitude and has
been groomed and put on our exercise machine and walked by hand every
day since July. As he is just a yearling, he is not yet broken to ride.
About Midway, KY
Before its European exploration, the area around Midway was inhabited by the Mound Builders. [ which? ] Two large and several smaller American Indian mounds have been identified on nearby farms. The present city began as a small settlement known as Stevenson's at the time of its first post office in 1832. On January 31, 1835, the local farmer John Francisco sold his 216.375-acre (87.564 ha) farm to the Lexington and Ohio Railroad for $6,491.25. The railroad then used the land to establish Kentucky's first railroad town, naming it Middleway for its location relative to Lexington and Frankfort, Kentucky.
