Paint Stallion for Sale in Madill, OK
Tyre is a 5 year old Stock Paint Gelding. He is black with a white
diamond on his forehead. He had only been ridden as a trail horse /
pleasure but has great potential to do more. We were give Tyre due
to his owner not being able to afford to feed him and wanting him to
go to a good home. We have had him for approximatley 10 months and I
have ridden him many times, including bareback. We have other horses we
ride often and I do not have the time to put into Tyre that he needs.
He needs a good home.
He is like a huge puppy dog and follows my kids and I around. Very easy
to catch. I am unable to download a picture but can send you via email
if interested.
About Madill, OK
Madill was founded in 1900 by William N. Taliaferro, who had settled in 1886, in what was then known as Pickens County, Chickasaw Nation, Indian Territory. Taliaferro owned a 600 acres (240 ha) farm and operated some ranches in the nearby town of Oakland, 2 miles (3.2 km) northwest of Madill. Oakland had been the area's largest town, but the railroad caused Madill to grow and Oakland, two miles northwest, to decline. A post office was established at Madill on April 29, 1901, The city was chartered on September 12, 1902.
