Quarter Horse Stallion for Sale in Lake Stevens, WA
CJ has been the perfect horse. He will go anywhere and do anything! He has
crossed hanging bridges and never even flinched, he has gone swimming in
the local river and just loves it!! We hate to see him go. But medical
bills and problems are forcing the sale of all of our beloved horses. Cj
has a lot of potential to be even better than he is now. We only used him
for trails, he has great reining potential he can rollback and slide to a
stop. He is an aswesome guy! With a little work he would even be alright
for a begginer, he just needs a little refesher course. We lead our 2
young girls around on him all the time bareback. We would love to see
him go to a home where his talents can be used. Please call 425-374-2***1
About Lake Stevens, WA
Lake Stevens was named for territorial governor Isaac Stevens in 1859 and first settled by Americans in 1886, on a 160-acre (0.65 km 2) homestead along the east shore. By 1890 the first town in the area, "Ferry", had been established. Its name was later changed to "Hartford", and it served as the main link from the famed Monte Cristo timber and mining resources to the world. In 1905 a railroad spur was built by the Rucker Brothers Timber Company, linking Hartford with Lake Stevens. Two years later Rucker Mill was opened, located along and in the north cove of the lake (original pilings can still be seen in the old lake outflow area just south of the boat launch).
