Half Arabian Mare for Sale in Lomira, WI
Raindrop is arab / paint cross and has had 30 days professional
training this spring. She has been started in 4- H and ridden on
trail some. She has a lot of energy and a bit of attitude (typical
mare) . My daughter has decided to quite 4- H and focus on basketball
and track. I have MS and need a mellower horse at this point. As the
trainer said "she's a sports car, not a volkswagon". She is
eager to please and will probably do anything you ask of her. She has
only been trained the basics so far. She has a lot of speed but is
easily disengaged. She will need an intermediate to experienced rider.
She also needs someone who will work with her on a regular basis. If you
like a horse with some get up and go and lots of curiosity, she's the one.

About Lomira, WI
The early history of the Village of Lomira is closely interwoven with the Town of Lomira. Prior to the arrival of white settlers, the son of Chief Black Hawk supposedly camped in the vicinity while blazing a trail from Milwaukee to Green Bay. [ citation needed ] There is no record of a settlement at Lomira prior to 1849. It was originally called Springfield, but in 1849, the name was changed to Lomira. Local lore says the village is a namesake of Elmira Schoonover, daughter of Sam Schoonover, an early settler.
