Quarter Horse Stallion for Sale in Brentwood, CA
Extremely nice mover. Will kick butt in any show. Smooth gaits,
athletic. Turn him out and he lunges himself. no buck, rear, kick, or
bite. He is not head shy, and walks quietly on a lead. Gelded. Just
turned 1 year. Big boy with muscle. Will be tall. Dad was 16. 2 and
mom was 15. 2. Not spooky. quick learner. Will be an easy start.
Was registerable, but breeder refuses to sign over the paperwork. But
because he is a gelding it doesnt make a difference anyway. Injured
as a weanling, causing him to be blind in one eye. Vet says it doesnt
bother him and wont need any care or to be removed. He doesnt even know
he is blind. You will just blow away the open shows. Price reduced due to
unexpected move. Must sell! Will trade for horse trailer, western saddle
(14 inch to 16 inch) .

About Brentwood, CA
Brentwood was originally laid out on land donated from property owned by John Marsh, an East Contra Costa County pioneer who acquired Rancho Los Meganos, the land grant that Brentwood is built upon, in 1837 from Jose Noriega. Marsh was one of the wealthiest men in California and was instrumental in its becoming independent from Mexico and part of the United States. His letters extolling the potential for agriculture in California were published in newspapers throughout the East. They resulted in the first wagon trains to California. Marsh encouraged this, and allowed new arrivals to stay on his ranch until they could get settled.
