Arabian Stallion for Sale in Grand Ledge, MI
Danny is a beautiful hunter pleasure mount with the training and attitude
to be a star in equitation as well. He is honest in the show arena and
sound. He is always in the ribbons in those large hunter classes, and
is a winner of two Top Fives at the tough Region 13 Championships. He
consistantly places high in open with his amateur rider. He has been in
training with Kerry Kubacki for three years. Danny is easy to work with -
loads, hauls, clips, baths, stands for the farrier, etc. His personality
makes him a barn favorite. I am only selling him because I am moving on
to a new prospect and don't have the time or money to keep two horses
in training. I will miss him terribly, but know he will succeed in his
new home. Sweepstakes nominated. I would consider offers & / or payments
to the right home.

About Grand Ledge, MI
Native Americans who lived in the vicinity of the Grand River near the ledges were of Pottawatomi, Chippewa, and Ottawa ancestry. They dug clams in the river, mined coal on the river banks, hunted for deer, turkey, fox, and bear, and fished for black bass. Their name for the ledges translated into English as "Big Rocks". Based on early records, Hugh Heward was the first white man to explore this area by river and record his findings. His journal describes the sandstone ledges as having high banks, some pine trees and heavy woods with the finest places possible for making syrup, and the existence of several small islands.
