Appaloosa Mare for Sale in Robbins, NC
Sky is a sweet older mare, great for beginners or children or anyone who
wants a calm horse to ride. Does not spook. Our daughter has grown out
of her and has moved on to a more speedy horse. She would be a great
pasture buddy for another lonely horse. She ia UTD on all shots and
worming, stands for the ferrier. She also has a colt on her side at
the moment and we will sell them together for 1500. He is a beautiful
tri colored spotted blanket. Both are unregistered so he will be gelded
when the time is right. Pictures available.

About Robbins, NC
The town, now known as Robbins, actually began in 1795 when gunsmith Alexander Kennedy and his family left Philadelphia to settle along Bear Creek. Kennedy set up a factory, which produced long rifles for American soldiers, near the site of the present day Robbins Water Plant. The Kennedy Rifle Works continued in operation until 1838 and the place became known as Mechanics Hill. In 1891, the Durham and Charlotte Railroad connected Gulf in Chatham County to Troy in Montgomery County. The railroad reached Mechanics Hill around 1899.
