Belgian Warmblood Mare for Sale in Plant City, FL
Angelica is now up for adoption! She is my personal horse (spoiled rotten)
and a real sweetie. She was rescued as an underweight yearling and is now
6. She is a Belgian / TB cross and can be registered as warm - blood.
She is 16. 1 hh, about 1300 lbs, and is a beautiful "mover",
will jump anything in front of her. I have not had time to work with
her and she is rusty. She was trained English hunt / jump, but I am a
Western rider & have used her for trails, barrels & such. She was fast at
the relay races, but not terrific with the poles or barrels. She has never
competed & is basically a little more than green broke. She has never had
ANY injuries. No vices at all!!! Donation fee is $3000. "We now
offer financing for all of our horses to qualified homes"
About Plant City, FL
Plant City's original name was Ichepuckesassa (also known as Idasukshed) after the Indian village that once occupied the territory. Its name caused so much confusion that the city was renamed "Cork", after the postmaster's Irish hometown. It was finally given the name "Plant City" in commemoration of Henry B. Plant and his railroad, which significantly boosted the commerce in this primarily agricultural community by incorporating it with the South Florida Railroad. Plant City was the spring training home of baseball's Cincinnati Reds, who played exhibition games at Plant City Stadium from 1988 to 1997.
