Tennessee Walking Mare for Sale in Lufkin, TX
Angel will go any place you put her. Show her on Friday night and trail
ride on Saturday. Has been placing well in show this year. She is flat
shod and extremely gentle. Loves people and attention. She is out of
Pushers Fine Art out of the Pusher. She has Bobs Beaucoup Boy, Delight
Bumin Around, Sun Delight D and the Super Stock in her back ground.
This is a wonderful mare. I am 5'4 and have had joint replacement on
both knees. I have been riding her since she was 23 months old and she
has gotten too tall for me and my step stool. She is still growing.
About Lufkin, TX
The city was originally founded in 1882 as a stop on the Houston, East and West Texas Railway, the city is named for Abraham P. Lufkin, a cotton merchant and Galveston city councilman. Lufkin was the father-in-law of Paul Bremond, president of the Houston, East and West Texas Railway which developed the town. Lufkin continued to grow because of its proximity to the railroad and its lumber industry. The history of Lufkin can be divided into 3 main eras the railroad era, the timber boom, and the golden era of expansion.
