Quarter Horse Mare for Sale in Edgewood, NM
Pictures of this Zan Parr Bar granddaughter's 2 foals and dam are
available. She is good with her feet and easy to trim. She loads easy
and rides quiet in the trailer. Zan is a product of Reva Barrett's
Quarterhorse breeding program and was sold when Barrett passed away. An
exceptional broodmare with excellent confirmation. This mare is now
broke to ride. She has a gentle disposition and there is absolutely no
buck in her. She has been ridden around our place for approximately 60
days. As you can see, this mare has a tremendous performance pedigree
and, in the right hands, this athlete could perform in the event of your
choice and / or produce quality babies. Call Tom at 505-450-3***5 for
pics, video or more info.
About Edgewood, NM
Homesteaders moving into the American West created the initial settlements that grew into what is now the town of Edgewood. Taking advantage of the federal Homestead Acts, pioneer families obtained land claims and began farming and ranching in the Edgewood area during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Edgewood was founded by a group of southern Santa Fe County residents and landowners. After the incorporation of the town in 1999, large areas of land were annexed. Efforts by the town government to avoid annexing properties whose owners did not wish to be brought within the town boundaries resulted in a checkerboard pattern of incorporated and unincorporated properties, one of the issues to be resolved in the town's Comprehensive Plan.
