Paint Mare for Sale in Salem, AL
This is a great 3- in -1 package. This mare is homozygous and produces
loud colored athletic babies with baby doll heads. She is easy to
handle and breed. She stands for the farrier, loads, ties, etc~ She
has been ridden, but I cannot say that she is broke. We have only
owned her as a broodmare. She is bred to a grullo quarter horse for
a 2007 baby. The baby by her side is Gunsmoke bred and appears to
have real potential. The mare, foal, and stallions can be seen at our
homepage ~ www. palakidaranch. com. We have outgrown our pasture and
need to reduce the pressure on our grass. She is a great mare and will
add something really special to any breeding operation.

About Salem, AL
Salem was first settled in 1835, and grew rapidly for the next two decades. Salem incorporated in 1846 and quickly became one of the area's largest cities. However, a fire which engulfed the town in 1854 and the subsequent Civil War resulted in the collapse of the town's government, and rapid depopulation. Salem lost a bid to be the county seat of the newly formed Lee County in 1865, and then saw its charter become inactive in the following decades. Today, Salem is a small unincorporated community of a few hundred.
