Quarter Horse Stallion for Sale in Waterloo, IL
Child~s trail horse deluxe - very quiet & easy to ride. He~s slow trotting
the barrels, will be a great babysitter for a child that wants to learn
the pattern & will only go as fast as the child can make him go. Lots
of kick will get him into a trot, also has a great stop. Can pony him,
or pony off of him. Very kind, soft eye. Not the dominant horse in the
pasture. He has many miles on the trails under his belt. Not spooky
or flighty. He loads, bathes, & clips beautifully - even his ears! No
vices. He will walk right up to a halter in the pasture. He has a slow
long stride and is very enjoyable and relaxing to ride. Come try him
out at my place. E - mail for pics - ja***@lycos. com call 618-939-5***0-

About Waterloo, IL
Waterloo's history dates back to the 18th century, with the French being the first Europeans to settle in the area. The site was ideal because of its elevation; the proximity of the Mississippi River Valley brought frequent flooding to the lowlands. It was also close to Fort de Chartres, a French stronghold. They named their settlement Bellefontaine, meaning 'beautiful spring.' This name related to a spring of water a mile south of the site of Waterloo, a frequent campsite on journeys between Kaskaskia, Cahokia, and St. Louis.
