Quarter Horse Stallion for Sale in Wills Point, TX
This horse has been one of the most interesting horses I've had in
awhile. When I first bought this horse, figured he'd only be a trail
horse. He wanted a job, and didn't get it till later, so he started
cribbing. Well, this horse has surprised me with lots of talent. I heeled
on him all last summer very regular, and have been stopping cattle on
him to start on the head side. I now have started on light cattle turning
off. Needs more of them under his belt. You could jackpot on him heeling
now. I think he would even run barrels, he's so trying. Quite in the box,
loads in trailer well, but wants to turn around to come out. Stands well
for hoof trimming. Doesn't crib with collar on. He's gonna make a nice
all around. I'm docking him on the money cause he cribs. A bargain!

About Wills Point, TX
Founded in 1873, Wills Point gets its name from an early American settler, William Wills, who had arrived in the area circa 1848. Wills eventually purchased a cabin from Adam Sullivan in 1852 [citation needed]. The name 'point' may also derive from the shape of the original timberline near the cabin, though there have been unsubstantiated arguments that the name relates to the area's elevation. The layout of the city was the work of engineer General Grenville M. Dodge of the California Construction Company.
