Sam is an amazing young horse who is currently doing Children's hunters,
and getting ready to start his A show career! He's trained with top
trainers, and done well at his first 2 C shows. Sam's willing and calm,
and would do well in anything. He does semi - auto changes, and has
3 great gaits. He was trained, but never raced. He's been out cross
country schooling, and does great on trail rides. He's very brave, and
has never had a problem. No vices. Loads / clips / bathes great! He's a

About Moncure, NC
Moncure was founded in 1881 by Thomas Jefferson Moncure, Benjamin Gunter Womble (February 17, 1841 – February 15, 1916), Jake Wisseler, and James Everett Bryan. Thomas Moncure was an engineer for what became the Seaboard Air Line Railroad. Benjamin Womble was a Confederate veteran, owner of the Womble Hotel, and first [ citation needed ] postmaster of Moncure for 30 years. The old post office now resides on the Womble property that has been continuously owned by his family. The Newkirk State (Site 3lCH366) and Lockville Dam, Canal and Powerhouse are listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
