Thoroughbred Stallion for Sale in Clifton, VA
"The Gambler" 16h Grey TB gelding. He just turned 5, however he
is much further along then most 5 year olds. He's been well started -
knows basic dressage. Amazing out on trails and out cross country, he
isn't herd bound at all. Very cute and sweet personality. He jumps 3'
foot courses with ease. Has a very athletic jump. I feel he'd excel
at Jumpers. He's great at turning and is very tidy. With the right
rider he could move up really quickly. I sadly don't have the time to
be that person. He's not for a beginner, i think he needs someone who
plans to show and and take advantage of his talent. He has no vices,
and is a sweetheart to be around. He's sound (and always is) with
clean legs. asking $8, 500, but VERY negotiable to a good home. More
pictures available.

About Clifton, VA
Before the arrival of European settlers, the present-day Clifton area was part of the hunting grounds used by Algonquin-speaking members of the Dogue tribe. The Dogue lived in villages and towns along the Potomac River and nearby Occoquan River. They carved bowls out of soapstone found in the area. European settlers composed of Scots merchants created the first nearby port settlement in the mid-1710s near the present-day Dumfries- Triangle area. Land in the Clifton area began to be settled in the early 18th century.
