Oldenburg Mare for Sale in Orlando, FL
Highlife's Chanel: 2005 Premium Weser - EMS filly by Highlife's
Bodyguard out of Conda 13. Chanel is a very friendly filly with lots of
personality. Chanel's small pony size holds nothing back from her large
impressive gaits. Her movements are fluid and elastic giving off the
same appearance as our Oldenburg foals. Chanel's sire Bodyguard passed
along many of his excellent Dressage traits to this filly. Chanel's dam,
Conda 13 has an excellent show jumping performance record. Conda 13 was
a finalist at the 2001 Bundeschampionat for six year old pony jumpers.
Since coming to the US she has competed and won numerous 3'6" and 3'
jumper classes. Chanel has excellent future potential in both Dressage
and Jumping arenas. Currently she is working in - hand.
About Orlando, FL
There are very few archaeological sites in the area today, except for the former site of Fort Gatlin along the shores of modern-day Lake Gatlin south of downtown Orlando. In 1823, the Treaty of Moultrie Creek created a Seminole reservation encompassing much of central Florida, including the area which would become Orlando. The Indian Removal Act of 1830 authorized relocation of the Seminole from Florida to Oklahoma, leading to the Second Seminole War. In 1842 white settlement in the area was encouraged by the Armed Occupation Act. After Mosquito County was divided in 1845, Fort Gatlin became the county seat of the newly created Orange County in 1856.
